Before you price it
What Zscaler is and why a company wants it
Short and jargon-free, so you know what you are paying for.
Access by identity, not by cable
A user gets a secure connection to one specific business application, not the run of your whole network.
ZPA instead of a traditional VPN
Zscaler Private Access connects a device to a sensitive application and removes the need for a classic VPN. In return you get granular access control and visibility of users and resources.
Safe internet through ZIA
The other half: traffic filtering, malware protection and application control for every user.
One set of policies, the same everywhere
Rules live in one place and plug into the identity management system you already use. Protection works the same in the office, at home and on the road.
Discovery
We start from what goes through the network today
A traffic audit shows what people actually use and which connections need to be controlled. Access policies and the split into user groups are built on that.
Rollout
Two paths for traffic, one control point
ZIA covers traffic to the internet: filtering, malware protection and application control.
ZPA covers traffic to business applications. A user gets access by identity, without opening the network to the outside.
Integration
The network and the workstations come in stages
We join the network with GRE or IPsec tunnels and integrate with what you already run, including the existing firewall.
Agents and profiles land on the workstations. We move users in groups, with training, rather than everyone at once.
Operations
The real work starts after go-live
Policies change as the company changes, so what remains after the rollout is monitoring, rule adjustments and support. The scope of that care is set in the contract.
Outcome
What you get
Security first
Traffic is inspected before it reaches company resources.
Granular permissions
Each person reaches only what they genuinely need for their work.
Access you can rely on
It works the same from the office, from home and on the road.

What does it cost?
Move the user count, pick a plan and add-ons, and you get an indicative budget straight away.
Zscaler is an enterprise-grade solution, so licences usually start at around 50 users. For fewer users, ask us about an alternative.

FAQ
Before you ask
Does Zscaler have a minimum licence count?
Yes. It is an enterprise-grade solution, so licences usually start at around 50 users. For a smaller company we will propose a different solution, for example a company VPN, matched to your scale.
Do we have to replace the firewall or VPN straight away?
No. Zscaler can run in parallel: we migrate group by group and switch the old solutions off only once everything works.
Are the calculator prices binding?
No, they are indicative. Unit rates drop as the user count grows; we prepare the final quote after a short review of your environment and licensing terms.
What about people working remotely?
That is Zscaler's main strength: protection and access work the same in the office, at home and on the road.
